Proving that the simplest drinks are often the best, this kinda-sorta riff on the Americano is a dangerously easy-to-drink baijiu tonic. If General Tso made Americans swoon for Chinese food, General Ming will make Americans fall in love with Chinese alcohol.
*We used Belsazar vermouth, but most red wine-based aperitivos work well as substitutes.
