The World of Baijiu
Have you heard of baijiu? If not, you are not alone. Originating in China, baijiu is the world’s most consumed alcohol that has yet to become popular in the West. On Friday, March 29th from 3-5 p.m., NYU Steinhardt’s Nutrition and Food Studies Department will host author and Baijiu educator, Derek Sandhaus, for a lecture and guided baijiu tasting.
