  • 3/4oz Brandy St Louise
  • 1/2oz China China
  • 1/2oz Lustau Amontillado sherry
  • 1/4oz St Elizabeth Allspice dram
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 2 dashes Hellfire shrub

    Stir with ice.

    Garnish with orange peel trimmed with oinking shears.

In keeping with the spirit of erguotou, this is a warm but dry cocktail well suited to colder climes. According to its creator, “The deep, rich flavors of fig and prune come out along with baked apple, cinnamon, clove, and allspice. The orange notes are prominent with a little picante spice behind it.”
